Carbon Zero Aircraft...05/16/07...

NOTE...addressed to Will Whitehorn, President Virgin Galactic...and Richard Branson's right hand man...Will and I have corresponded since 1999...

Gaia Two can be constructed up to 154' long...her original design was intended as a replacement for shuttle.

As I have stated on numerous occasions, she is infinitely adaptable, and at home in any fluid medium.

Semi-Ridgid Airship...154' in length...aloft to 100,000'...start to drop...aim her wherever ya need to go...use equatorial currents to remain aloft for extended periods...compressed air onboard for emergency oomph, if needed...radio controlled, if you like...no pilot salaries...land on water...no airstrip to construct...ad infinitum.

There is absolutey no reason why this won't work.

In atmosphere, she could operate with a molded passenger gondola along her center line.

Tell the Boss.

I'll get him off the hook...Carbon Friendly Aircraft...and, since there's no space/re-entry involved, she can be molded from non-Petro Chem Waste materials.

I cannot believe that you folks have had this info since 1999, and no-one there has put two and two together...it's a friggin' balloon, a sailboat, a spaceship, a super hydroplane, a kite, blah...blah...blah...just exactly what the Boss needs.

Commercial air travel is torture...divide business from pleasure...totally...utilize existing designs for super efficient business travel...remember, we can't just stop using Petro Chems.

Make Gaia Two into a total experience...the travel is the experience...screw getting jammed up all day, waiting to cram into some flying cylinder that takes you to someplace where you can wait in line some more...that's work...we're goin' Gaia Two.

C'mon, Will...you asked me to continue contributing a long time ago...this suggestion wins The Virgin Earth Challenge...hands down...let's work something out, eh?

SmythSpace is financed by The Rebel Hundredaire...I can no longer afford to operate as an Impoverished Philanthropy.

Someone will jump all over this one...you are up...ball to your court.
